The San Diego Distiller’s Guild is happy to announce our first annual Local Spirits Festival! Our guild is made up of local distillers and distillery owners from right here in Southern California. You won’t find any commercial spirits like Captain Morgain or Tito’s vodka here! The Spirits By The Bay festival features a wide range of hand-made whiskey, vodka, gin, rum, and much more from a variety of local producers for you to enjoy.

What to expect:

  • Beautiful Scenery from the Ferry Landing on Coronado Island
  • Excellent live music (Bluegrass/”Whiskey” Country venue)
  • Bites from local restaurants and food trucks available for larger appetites!
  • Distillers & their spirits for you to sample: Whiskey, Gin, Vodka, Rum, and more!
  • Lots of goodies to pick up like free passes for distillery tours, coupons, and stickers.
  • Silent auction for unique distillers gift baskets (1 per distillery) that include booze right from the barrels, merchandise, gift certificates, memberships, invites to private events, and more!

All-Access Ticket – $45

  • Access to the festival on Saturday, October 14th from 1pm to 5pm.
  • Live music from 3x bands. (Country/Bluegrass/Folk)
  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
  • Unlimited free samples from local distilleries. (Samples are 1/4oz. pour of distilled spirits)
  • Craft cocktails made with local spirits available for purchase from 1pm to 5pm.
  •  Upgrade from regular to VIP at the door for $25

VIP Ticket – $65

  • Access to the festival on Saturday, October 14th from 12-noon to 5pm.
  • Live music from 3x bands. (Country/Bluegrass/Folk)
  • Food and non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase.
  • Unlimited free samples from local distilleries. (Samples are 1/4oz. pour of distilled spirits)
  • Complimentary Craft cocktails made with local spirits available in the VIP tent from 12-noon to 5pm.

Using public transportation is highly encouraged!

The San Diego Distiller’s Guild kindly invites you to enjoy this festival responsibly.  While there is parking at the venue, the SDDG also encourages you to Uber, carpool with a designated driver, and use the Coronado Ferry which delivers you right to the front door of the festival at the Coronado Ferry Landing! It couldn’t be easier to safely enjoy this spirits festival.

If you’re thinking about taking the Coronado Ferry, it’s about a 10 minute boat ride to Coronado and departs hourly from the Fifth Avenue Landing (Right behind the convention center). There’s a big parking lot and you can buy tickets from the kiosk right on the dock ($4.75 1-way – $9.50 round trip). Visit Coronado Ferry for more information.
